This company is moving into a new area where you as the incoming Finance Director can make a tangible difference both in terms of the finance function and how that operates and also across the business as they start to evolve their operating model.

You will take the helm of a small finance team and directly partner with the MD and other directors day to day. In terms of the business they distribute however also are involved in manufacturing so you will get exposure to that area of the organisation and be responsible for moving on the value that finance adds to the operational process.

Obviously with the company being of the scale and size it is, you should be happy and willing to get hands on. It's a small finance team (4) and you will be getting involved in everything from month end, commercial / ops reporting, leading audit and statutory processes through to overseeing Payroll. The company and leadership team are open to evolution however and whilst their systems and processes are better than many businesses of their size, you will still have the opportunity to make an impact.

As a base you will need to be:

• ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Hold strong managerial experience ideally as no1 or no2 in Finance
• Have experience of working within a stock driven environment be that manufacturing or a distribution led business
• Have proven hands on experience and can demonstrate you are not "above" delivering the day to day numbers and processing payroll if required!
