Management Accountant

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT: COVENTRY: £45,000

I'm recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a high quality and vibrant finance function, as part of the management accounting team of a retail organisation with a turnover of over £1 billion.

The Management Accountant role will be responsible for preparing weekly reporting and monthly management accounts, which accurately report company performance and financial position whilst upholding the highest standard of financial control. You will also support the Finance Business Partners in the budget and forecasting process as well as assisting in improvements to controls and processes.

• Processing and supporting the production of the management accounts for month end reporting encompassing all divisions.
• Support the Finance Business Partner in the budget, forecasting and 3 year planning process.
• Supporting the delivery of the change programme across all aspects of the management accounts.
• Providing recommendations, improving processes and embedding a culture of continuous improvement and automation.
• Responsibility and delivery of complex reconciliations across multiple systems / processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy of our financial performance & position.
• Balance sheet control and reconciliations.
• Support Finance Business Partners to understand key movements in their P&L on a monthly basis.

In order to be considered for this role you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA), have detailed Management Accounts experience and be able to produce detailed and accurate reporting for divisional heads.
