Finance Business Partner opportunity for leading Sussex Charity
Client Details
A leading Sussex based Charity are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.
Description
- Understanding and interpreting the business requirements for Finance, working with other functions to build strong relationships and promoting a cross team culture to ensure adequate business insight is built into core reporting
- Develop financial management information, including short, medium and long-term financial planning and insight to help drive Finance efficiency programmes into Divisions, including producing quality KPI reporting and other initiatives by which to adequately assess performance
- Optimising the use of financial data from newly implemented systems
- Working closely with the Group Finance Controller, the Head of Finance and the transformation team to embed improvements into our BAU processes
- Conducting financial scenario modelling to aid the Society to make informed operational business decisions
- Provide financial analysis and insight to the project teams / Project Management Office
- Active involvement in appropriate Divisional governance committees to represent finance and provide appropriate guidance to the business managers
- Driving commercial thinking during a period of change and income diversification
Profile
- Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA Accountant
- Project management and business process mapping and development experience
- Excellent understanding of management accounting, budget setting, financial reporting and forecasting
- A high level of commercial acumen and the ability to educate and support the business to understand their finance performance
- Experience of business partnering in a complex organisation within a transformation programme
- Financial challenge, analysis and insight across all areas of responsibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable experience in working with operational teams and other corporate functions.
- Professional qualified accountant or equivalent experience
