Your new organisation is a long-standing and leading independent Chartered Accountancy firm which provides comprehensive tax and accountancy services to a variety of individuals and businesses across a range of sectors throughout the country, from sole traders to large UK companies.


Your new role
The position is a manager/assistant manager in the accounts preparation department and involves dealing with approximately 150 clients ranging from sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, pension schemes to LLP's. The role involves managing this portfolio, meeting various compliance deadlines and meeting/corresponding with clients. There is also management of staff, their workloads, time recording and reviewing their work and providing training.


What you'll need to succeed
As the successful applicant, you will have reasonable technical competency and knowledge when it comes accounts disclosure, accounting standards, corporation tax and VAT. You will also have experience working with practice and looking after a team
