A growing recognised corporate is currently recruiting a Tax Accountant to be based in Reading (option of working 3 days a week from home) on a permanent basis. The Tax Accountant will report directly to the Head of Finance and interface with senior stakeholders across the business.

The successful Tax Accountants key objective will be to provide sound advice, guidance and management of all UK-specific tax items. Given the nature of the role and business, the ideal Tax Accountant will have experience of the following duties below, working within a large business.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

• Analysis and monitoring of tax regulations
• Resolution of queries, doubts or tax issues raised, in matters of direct and indirect taxes, withholdings and local taxes.
• Analysis of the fiscal impacts derived from the accounting practice
• Detecting opportunities to apply tax deductions for R&D&I activities
• Supervise the audit and control function on the business' fiscal practices, in order to detect risk practices and propose and promote corrective actions to be able to comply with the pre-set requirements.
• Supervise the execution of periodic tax returns and annual summaries
• Corporate tax management
• Local tax management
