Headquartered in fashionable Didsbury, in our fabulous new offices, you will join our finance team (7) who are responsible for management accounting, compliance, all customer orders and transactional processing. Reporting to our Finance & Operations Director, our new Commercial Accountant will be responsible for our US business, your overall purpose being to:

  • Prepare, develop & analyse financial information to support well informed business decisions
  • Turn date into insights and to be a visual storyteller

Ideally professionally qualified our Commercial Accountant will be intellectually astute with strong commercial acumen and experience working in international multi-currency markets. Part-Qualified applicants who meet our brief will also be considered. Your career may be from an SME, corporate or professional services background, and your profile will include:

  • a good understanding of modern management information systems
  • highly creative – you’ll enjoy working with data, visualisation, dashboards etc; we seek a visual story teller with outstanding presentation, writing & reporting skills
  • a good track record in financial forecasting
  • a self-motivated team player with a proactive can-do attitude & ability to work at pace
  • very organised and able to multi-task, analytical & results focused
  • An excellent communicator who is comfortable interacting with the Board, Investors and our external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking
  • Occasional US travel will be required (post-restrictions)
