This role is permanent position where the incumbent will report to Group Finance Manager. The successful candidate will perform day-to-day financial support of the Corporate Finance team, ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines are achieved. You will support the Group Finance Manager with financial reporting requirements,including statutory reporting for the subsidiary companies.
You will focus on managing month end closing activity for the head office entity of the business. The incumbent will be responsible on various accounting matters and prepare and review monthly and quarterly management reports, monthly financial statements, annual budgets,cash flow and statutory reports.
Support the Group Tax Manager with tax obligations and compliance.
You will also be involved in the review the performance of investments (subsidiaries & associates).
About the candidate
Candidate for this role must be some one with at least 2 years of relevant experience to undertake the role successfully. She should have knowledge of full set of accounts and knowledge to prepare consolidated group accounts and knowledge of taxation matters.
Candidates who will succeed to take up this role must possess minimum bachelor degree qualification in Accounting or at best professional qualification ACCA/CIMA.
Possess advance level of Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting systems.
To be considered for this role, candidate must be proficient in English, spoken and written plus conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin. In addition, candidates must be willing to be based at the KL head office in KL city center.
