Accountancy Action are exclusively partnering with a multi-disciplined business based in Hertfordshire seeking a Finance Director to join them on a permanent basis. This is an ambitious position and will involve setting up the process of sale from start to finish and will work very closely with the senior management team. The business has strong presence within the UK and Internationally.

Key duties of the role include:

- Ownership of the reporting/metrics process to get the business to "salepoint"

- Planning the risk analysis

- Streamlining processes and subsequent expenditure reduction

- Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business directives

- Implementing change processes, business improvements and ongoing evolution of the business

- Lead on the tax implications towards sale

- Ensure that the business meets all legal appropriate obligations

- Ad hoc duties

The successful candidates will have previous experience of leading a business to sale stage and will be confident and comfortable working strategically on a multi-scale long term project.
