This dynamic company is searching for a Senior Accountant capable of consulting with clients at a senior level, getting involved in preparing client reports, financial statements and other client documents, helping to manage and develop the junior accounting team; and help the team drive and grow the business through our focus on new technology helping to bring the business closer to clients.

The role offers significant potential for a candidate to take responsibility for their own buisness and prove their general management credentials. Job Objectives and responsibilities:

* Establish and develop client relationship to maintain and build the client base;
* Launch new products and adapt existing products to changing regulations and client requirements including inter alia;
* Business Intelligence and other reporting tools
* Artificial Intelligence and automation
* Cloud based accounting software
* Linked apps and API integation into the core accounting platform.
* Help manage a small team of part qualified accountants to prepare and submit a variety of accounting, payroll and tax submissions in the UK and South Africa (candidate will also have to prepare and review these submissions).
* Annual Financial Staements
* Employer Annual Returns
* VAT returns
* Corporation Tax returns
* Self assessments
* PAYE registrations and submissions
* Company regitrations
* Company payroll submissions
* Interact with new and existing clients to maintain the firms reputation and client base (telephonically and in person)
* Maintain competence in accounting and tax to provide advice to clients
* Build the business by interacting with clients, agents and end users (may involve management of business development team.
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures and buisness ethics codes
Job Specifications

* Qualified ACA (or equivalent) with at least 5 years post articles experience
* Proven practicle experience in preparing accounting reports from source
* Willingness to travel (where necessary)
* Excellent communications skills.
* Good excel capabilities (modelling will be required).
* Experience interacting with customers crucial
* Ability to work without supervision in a team environment essential.
