Michael Page are recruiting for an Interim Deputy Head of Financial Operations to join a large Public Sector organisation based in Leeds but working from home throughout.

Client Details

The client is a large Public Sector organisation based out of Leeds who have been fundamentally involved in the fight against Covid 19. They are looking for an Interim Deputy Head of Financial Operations to join their large, busy finance team. This role will be working from home throughout and will involve working on a rota basis.

Description

Duties of the role will involve but are not limited to, enabling a successful Purchase to Pay process for the organisation's spend, ensuring work is prioritised effectively, managing staff, overseeing the P2P processes, working with other teams across the organisation, ensuring all appropriate controls are in place, ensuring that the P2P process supports good financial management, leading on projects, working with stakeholders, dealing with queries and other ad hoc duties.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have managed staff previously ESSENTIAL
  • Be a fully Qualified Accountant ESSENTIAL
  • Have worked within a P2P role previously ESSENTIAL
  • Have worked in a finance operations environment and have an excellent understanding of end-to-end P2P processes ESSENTIAL
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills ESSENTIAL

Job Offer

£500- £580 day rate + Interim Deputy Head of Financial Operations + working from home throughout + weekly pay + Interim role for initially 8 months + public sector organisation
