We are currently looking for experiencedFinance Business Partner for our Consumer Healthcare Business. The role covers Business Partnering and relevant aspects of Planning and Control. You will be responsible for defined elements of the management P&L, especially on Net Sales. You will work closely with commercial departments to give financial advice in the delivery of financial targets and to ensure an appropriate return on investment.
Other KeyResponsibilities:
BUSINESS PARTNERING
  • Partners with Sales and Commercial leads to enhance the understanding of performance drivers in topline sales and trade spend. Provides channel/customer/brand P&L analysis to management and commercial team
  • Partners with the commercial teams to create the annual Gross to Net budgets. Supports the Sales and Finance teams in budget control and optimization
  • Analyses opportunities in areas of G2N discounts, customer P&L and investment allocation across channels. Provides inputs on customer trading terms negotiations
  • Ensures viability of business cases and promotions proposal by validating and challenging the assumptions. Drive ROI culture through robust pre- and post- promotion evaluation
  • Drives the Net Revenue Management (NRM) framework to improve gross margin profitability through initiatives in pricing, mix, trade investment and promotion management.
  • Supports Project Cash reviews with the commercial team to present updates on go-to-market reviews and other savings initiatives

FINANCIAL CONTROLS
  • Analyses the month-end financial position of Net Sales, investigates variances and reports on significant budgetary variances, identifying any remedial action that needs to be taken
  • Reviews and provides inputs to the monthly forecasts of Gross to Net from the Sales teams. Ensures that forecast/projection from team are valid and reflect the business situation.
  • Reviews the trade rebate tracker to ensure that trade activities and claims are properly monitored
  • Reviews sales targets and incentive computations for sales force employees in accordance with commercial excellence policies
  • Conduct management monitoring exercises to ensure compliance with the trade spend SOP, trade spend management (TSM) controls and the GSK internal control framework
  • Ensures commercial hygiene principles are met including review of trade inventory levels and accounts receivables and performs corrective actions in case of process gaps
  • Supports the One Finance mindset. Liaises with and assists other staff within the embedded finance teams and the BSC finance hubs to ensure that corporate, statutory, and performance monitoring requirements are met

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:
  • Graduate with a bachelors degree in Finance or Accountancy (ACCA preferred) or equivalent international qualification
  • 5 years experience in areas of finance business partnering, management accounting, budget management, cost control and financial analysis
  • Numeracy, accuracy, excellent attention to detail, and strong analytical skill
  • Excellent MS Excel skills, SAP experience is preferred
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to recognize cultural diversity
