A well established logistics company, based in Meyersdal, is seeking a Bookkeeper, to join their team

• Knowledge of Sage One Accounting System
• Knowledge of Pastel
• Oversee administration of all company compliance requirements with various institutions; CIPC, Compensation Fund, SARS, NBRFI, Provident Fund
• Supplier Remittance accounts maintenance
• Perform supplier reconciliation
• Preparation and submission of VAT and PAYE returns
• Maintain Fixed Asserts register
• Monthly maintenance reports to clients
• Payroll administration
• Assist with administration of financial portfolio
• Transactional processing of creditors, debtors and cash book
• Bank reconciliation
• Processing of financial journals
• Cost and Expense analysis reports
• Final trial balance integrity review
• Preparation of management accounts
• Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
• Compliance:
Prepare and submit PAYE (EMP201) returns monthly
Prepare and submit VAT (VAT201) returns bi-monthly
Prepare and submit provisional tax (IRP6) returns bi-annually
Prepare and submit employer reconciliation (EMP501) bi-annually
SARS payment arrangements administration
SARS tax status administration
• Compilation of Tender Documents
• Knowledge of Transport and Logistics Industry

Head of Bookkeeping: Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, payroll and regulatory compliance guidelines. Highly organized with proven track record in efficiently and effectively supporting overall accounting processes.
A person with a creative edge, an initiator and developer.
Must have valid drivers license and own vehicle
Must reside within 15km radius of Meyersdal

R15,000.00 p/m CTC
