The Job

You will be responsible for :
  • Preparing financial reports, conducting analysis and disseminating result to Finance leadership team, the revenue team and the cost center teams.
  • Preparing supporting materials and leading discussions during financial, product and marketing review meetings
  • Leveraging insights gained through analysis and providing decision support to operations teams.
  • Publishing financial and non-financial metrics and highlighting opportunities and risks to Finance leadership and business owners
  • Identifying, recommending, and implementing ways to capitalise on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborating with business owners to develop detailed budgets and forecasts and challenging assumptions when appropriate
  • Supporting business owners during reviews with senior management
  • Participating in cross-functional team meetings to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Contributing to strategic planning discussions and supporting implementation of ensuing initiatives.
  • Evaluating effectiveness and identifying opportunities to streamline processes through automation & standardisation, eliminating obsolete tasks and deliverables
  • Cultivating business relationships across organisation to understand business owner needs and expectations and incorporating feedback
  • Liaising with shared service team in maintaining accurate financial record and being accountable for the full audit cycle of regional portfolio.
  • Maintaining tax record and ensuring timely and accuracy of tax submission
  • Providing support for system migration
  • Assisting with annual audit by preparing requested schedules and addressing auditor inquiries.

The Profile
  • You are a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent of 2 years of Post Qualified Experience.
  • You have at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Having an advance degree or certification, such as CPA, CGMA, MBA, or CFM, prior Oracle General Ledger, Discoverer and ADI experience and intermediate Microsoft Access skills will be an added advantage
  • You have experience in reading, interpreting and drawing accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
  • You have knowledge of processes, tools and techniques to explore and evaluate financial scenarios, results and alternatives, create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports as well as maintaining accounting records.
  • You have worked with financial & accounting software and applications and are able to apply generally accepted accounting principles
  • You have Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Basic Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Word skills
  • You pay strong attention to detail, are organised and able to deliver work within deadlines
  • You are highly motivated and initiative with ability to work independently with others
