Your new role
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the smooth running of general ledger activities across a significant business. You will support project and BAU activity from balancesheet reconciliations, P&L, budgeting, forecasting and providing value added analysis across the team. You will lead a team of assistants, supporting their development and oversight of activities to improve business processes. You will be responsible for liaising with a range of business stakeholders and offering insight and commercial value through analysis and embracing a continuous improvement approach.

You will report to the Financial Controller as part of an experienced team. This is a commercial role touching on various areas of the business and you will need experience of presenting to Senior Stakeholders and building strong, long lasting relationships with them.

What you'll need to succeed
The Financial Analyst is a visible leadership role in the team and as a qualified accountant you will take ownership and initiative for steering decision making in the team. You will be an ambitious individual with a pro-active approach and the ability to analyse, improve and enhance outputs through analysis and review. You will be a people person, inquisitive and passionate about developing processes with strong leadership skills to manage and coordinate the team. You will have strong systems and Excel and be passionate about change and building relationships with stakeholders.
