We are looking for a passionate, pragmatic, execution focused innovator to join the Innovation and Partnerships team. Reporting to the Executive, Innovation Management, the Associate Director, Innovation is the key orchestrator of proposition development, delivery and incubation within the Innovation and Partnerships team. They are experts of balance, embracing uncertainty, complexity and trade-offs with skill and careful consideration. They are able to form, hold and evolve an inspiring product vision, use agile delivery to quickly prove or disprove hypotheses and effectively navigate governance and decision making. They drive proposition development through a deep understanding of customer needs, commercial and technical realities, and delivery trade-offs, drawing in experts as required. They will identify prospective third parties to collaborate with and establish true partnerships in order to effectively deliver innovative propositions.

A stand-out Associate Director, Innovation requires both soft and hard skills - the ability to be both empathetic toward customers' motivations and goals while delving into the data and guiding development lifecycles. Relationships and communication are also critical, with the ability to engage with and collaborate with the wider team, wider bank stakeholders and business sponsors, in addition to partners and other third parties.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of Financial Services (or equivalent) experience in Product Management, Digital, Partnerships or Innovation roles
• Experience delivering commercially successful innovative digital solutions, including governance and business case development
• Experience in human centred design to develop deep understanding of customer needs and iteratively develop opportunities
• Experience with Agile design and delivery models, including tools and ways of working, to effectively make decisions and manage dynamic and uncertain environments
• Experience engaging with third parties and prospective partners to develop commercial agreements
• Strong digital understanding
