Job Details

The Credit Controller based in Coventry with remote working options will be responsible for managing a number of accounts and effectively manage relationships whilst maintaining a low level of outstanding debt. You will liaise and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to safeguard the businesses operations whilst also showing compassion and understanding to those customers in difficulty.

Description

The Credit Controller position will be responsible for:

  • Managing a number of live sales ledger accounts effectively
  • Consistently communicating with customers and negotiating repayments where necessary effectively
  • Identifying and minimising credit risk and exposure to the business reporting any potential issues to the Credit Manager
  • Producing debtor reports for management regularly using Excel and outlining any areas of concern
  • Allocating payments and completing bank reconciliations
  • Setting up customers and placing accounts on stop when necessary
  • Extensive liaison with internal stakeholders
  • Contribution in improvement initiatives

Profile

To be successful in this role as Credit Controller you will need prior experience in Accounts Receivable and be a skilled communicator at all levels. You will be calm and considered in your approach to communications and be able to influence and educate decisions. You will require strong IT skills and the ability to manage a diverse and varied workload.
