An demanding opportunity has arisen with a very successful firm of accountants in Edinburgh.
You will be a qualified accountant, CA, ACA, or ACCA or equivalent with around 3 years' experience or more gained in professional practice. Working with a friendly team you will handle:
Preparation of annual accounts for companies and partnerships;
Supervision of staff preparing sole trader accounts;
Supervision of staff preparing periodic management accounts on Xero;
Supervision of staff preparing cloud based bookkeeping records;
Prepartaion of Corporation Tax Computations and Returns;
Supervision of staff preparing Self assessment Tax Returns;
Supervision of staff preparing VAT Returns;
Supervision of staff preparing weekly (1) and monthly payrolls;
Preparation of Profit and Cashflow forecasts;
Involvement in business advisory;
Involvement in tax advisory.
Ideally, your experience should be in general practice and you should ideally be recently qualified with up to to 3 years PQE. You should also have Accounts, tax and payroll experience and you should also be familiar with Sage, Xero.
