Exciting role for a Payroll Manager to take leadership of a small Payroll department. You will need excellent knowledge of all aspects of Payroll to assist you in guiding and leading the team. While not a hands on role this position requires a knowledgeable, experienced leader.
Full time position based in Halifax with a local Accountancy Practice Est over 100 years ago who have found significant growth over the last year and are eager to expand their teams and continue supporting their staff. This role is an office based position with a Covid Secure workplace.
Payroll Manager Position Overview
Ensure the smooth running of end to end payroll for 200+ clients
Ensure the team process payrolls on a weekly, monthly and fortnightly basis
Set up new payrolls where suitable,
Dealing with RTI system, inform clients of PAYE liabilities
P45's / P60's, cis returns and dealing with HMRC.
You will also be heavily involved with all things concerning pensions / auto enrolment.
Implement new processes in order to keep the operational payroll running efficiently.
You will provide support to team members, ensuring they are kept up to date with new processes/ legislation.
Ad-Hoc duties as required
Payroll Manager Position Requirements
Previous experience within a Payroll Supervisor / Manager position
Previous experience within a Payroll Bureau
Payroll Qualifications beneficial

£30,000 - £35,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
