The main purpose of the role of a Credit Controller is to collect the outstanding debt from a range of hire Major customer accounts that trade with HSS Hire. You will be allocated a region which you will be responsible to own and collect the outstanding debt of some of our key accounts. You will also deal with any associated queries and disputes raised through this process alongside working towards targets and deadlines in order to maximise cash collections.

Firstly, we Make It Safe. We want someone who has our colleague and customers safety at the forefront of everything they do.

We Make It Happen. You will contact customers via telephone, Letter, emai, etc. regarding the collection of debt in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. You will record all action taken and ensure that great relationships our maintained with our key account customers.

We Make It Better. Handling our major accounts, you will need great communication skills and the ability and motivation required to build strong relationships and deal with any financial queries and disputes relating to invoicing.

You will work towards targets for cash collection to reduce the outstanding debt exposure to the group and reconcile any major accounts to ensure statements produced are accurate.
