Management Accountant

Your new role

• To provide comprehensive management accounting and business partnering service to individual operational directorates. Providing robust financial forecasts and costing models and taking sole responsibility for specific business areas.

• To undertake a lead role on providing financial data for the management and development of information reporting and analysis, in line with regulatory requirements.

• To provide expert financial input, advice and support to budget holders with regards to service development proposals.

• To work as a member of the finance team ensuring high standards of financial control.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally fully qualified (or actively studying and near to completion) this could be a really progressive role. If you are keen to get the experience required to develop to become a Finance Business Partner this is a great opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience of management accounts but someone with strong financial accounts may be considered if they can demonstrate the desire to gain that experience and the communication skills to work effectively with budget holders. You will have excellent excel skills and will ideally have used report writing tool e.g. Power BI, Business Objects or Vision.

Likely to be WFH until July and then 2/3 days per week.
