Permanent Payroll Manager opportunity to lead a team of 3 Payroll Administrators in the delivery of a varied and challenging payroll service spanning multiple payrolls.

My client is a leading and highly respected Financial Services client operating across Warwickshire and the Midlands with a number of offices. They have a highly loyal client base and continue to expand delivering their services to, sole traders, SME's and larger businesses and are now seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to join their business.

Description

The Payroll Manager position will involve a variety of duties including:

• Managing the payroll team of 3 staff
• Managing the processing of over 650 payrolls on a monthly, fortnightly and weekly basis
• Deal with client queries within a reasonable timeframe and manage client expectations
• Deal with HMRC and the pensions regulator with any queries arising
• Review, monitor and improve departmental procedures
• Quality control the work prepared

Profile

To be considered for this challenging yet highly rewarding opportunity the successful applicant will possess strong Management skills with the ability to train and develop more junior staff members. You will need previous Practice or Bureau exposure and be confident in all aspects of payroll calculation and legislation.
