Our client is a sizeable, international Private Equity business based in central London. A new role has been created for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to work on some of their flagship funds in a broad, commercial, fund accounting role. You will be working closely with the investment teams especially around the quarterly valuation cycle. You will have had Private Equity exposure, either from an audit role or from working as a Fund Accountant in industry.

The Role:

• Monthly and quarterly reporting
• Maintenance and review of full accounting records on Investran, including supporting the deal closing and realisation activity to be able to record the deal activity
• Development of fund metrics and outcome analysis
• Calculation of management fees and carried interest
• Assisting in the quarterly valuation process and LP reporting
• Fund budgeting and expense analysis
• Liaison with external auditors with regards to statutory fund audits
• Review, allocation and approval of invoices and expenses
• Working with colleagues across all international offices
• Ad Hoc projects

Requirements:

• You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Preference for someone to have initially qualified in a Top 10 accounting firm, with financial services/Private Equity exposure
• Previous/current experience in a fund accounting role
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills
