Gleeson RG are recruiting for a Financial Controller to join an established US owned Business based in Birmingham. You will be responsible for Reporting and Control requirements in a specific region.

Role

• Delivering monthly financial detailed review of reporting for the region
• Analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet, review of the commentary from the markets, preparation of the commentary of main variances versus the latest forecast
• Detailed review of budget and quarterly re forecast reporting for region
• Liaising with parent company in both UK and US on various matters including tax
• Preparation of the decks used in quarterly re forecast/budget presentations
• Acting as the main HQ point of contact for financial reporting matters of several operating companies
• Managing regional Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements
• Monitoring of Capex
• Adhoc reporting/analysis for senior management
• Manage Finance Team

Person

• Fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Background in Audit
• Advanced excel skills
• Strong accounting experience specifically, statutory accounting, cost accounting and analytical review, system & process review, exposure to compliance and SOX auditing
• Experience in group accounts or consolidations
