Axon Moore are looking for a Financial Accountant for a 6 month interim role with a leading business based in Lancashire

The roles purpose is to ensure that the Group's Financial Reporting and Tax Compliance are accurate, complete and meet the required standard of a regulated Financial Services sector business.

Duties:

- Management of month end reporting process and production of monthly management account pack
- Liaison with auditors and meeting their request in an accurate and timely manner
- Be responsible for ensuring that consolidations and intra-group balances are kept up to date and reconciled
- Ensure that balance sheet accounts within your remit are reconciled on a regular basis with appropriate review
- Responsibility for Tax compliance for the Group - (Includes Partially Exempt Vat and Corporation Tax)
- Regulatory reporting for the Group
- Ensure the department stays up to date with technical accounting changes
- Other tasks including - Company secretarial liaison, banking liaison, insurance management, and other ad-hoc tasks / projects

Person Specification:

- CIMA/ACCA qualified
- Immediately available/available on short notice
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Willingness to use initiative and work without detailed instructions
