An opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join a rapidly growing, PE-backed property firm based in central London.

My client is a new PE-backed property owner/manager/developer/investor firm based in central London.

Description

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Accountant will be for the following:

• Maintaining multicurrency bank reconciliations and payments
• Review and recommendation of invoices (in line with service agreements) for payment approvals
• Responsible for accounts receivable functions of the business
• Maintaining an accurate and up to date financial system (Xero)
• Liaising with external payroll provider to process monthly payroll
• Responsible for the expense claim system
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Preparation of cash flow forecasts
• Assisting with preparation and review of quarterly/annual fund financials
• Liaising with the outsourced fund administrators
• Assisting with statutory financial reporting
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Profile

The successful Accountant will have the following:

• Finance degree
• Accounting professional qualification
• Experience within the real estate and property/real estate funds/construction sector
• Advanced level Excel
• Yardi and Xero systems experience desirable
• Confident with strong communication, able to multitask and excellent team player
• Notice period of less than 1 month

Job Offer

Basic salary of between £45,000 to £50,000 + bonus & benefits.
