Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint a Tax & Treasury Manager to be responsible for the development of Tax & Treasury policies, ensuring ongoing compliance and in particular, to provide strategic tax analysis and advice on significant investment projects and group structuring arrangements, alongside the business's external advisors.

Description

Tax -

• Manage corporation tax compliance of the Group
• Liaison with external advisors
• Set up of systems and procedures required to bring the Tax function in-house
• Provision of ad-hoc advice to the wider Finance team
• Analysis and reporting of key tax considerations and risks in relation to projects and structuring decisions

Treasury -

• Development and application of an effective Group Treasury Strategy
• Managing compliance with the Group's debt funding facilities and covenants
• Development and ongoing maintenance of the Group's cashflow forecasting models
• Administering the Group's bank accounts and implementing adequate internal controls
• Management of the Group's intra-group loan agreements
• Providing general financial advice and assistance to the business

Profile

Experience/qualifications:

• CA/CTA qualified
• Strong corporate tax experience gained from a top tier accounting firm or in an industry setting
• Working knowledge of other taxes
• Financial modelling experience desirable

Knowledge/skills:

• High degree of self-motivation and initiative to develop new procedures and drive forward process improvements
• Ability to organise workload to ensure regular monthly deadlines are met
• Excellent communication to build strong relationships across a number of key stakeholders
• Hands on approach
• Excellent IT skills

Job Offer

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 DOE + benefits
