Corporate Tax Associate/Assistant Manager

£28 000 to £42 000 + Flexible Benefits Package

Our client is a Top 10 practice that is looking to expand its' corporate tax team and is looking for a career orientated individual to join a highly successful team in its' Manchester tax team. Spear-headed by a dynamic and highly regarded Tax Partner in the region we are looking for a client-focused individual who has a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently, but also as part of a Regional team. Strong communication skills are essential, alongside a flexible approach to the workplace.

Your role will involve:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact
• Ensure each assignment is undertaken in accordance with the pre-assignment instructions and in line with the firm's procedures
• Be responsible for the corporate tax compliance for such clients
• Advising on the payment of tax liabilities
• Preparing and submitting tax returns and computations
• Dealing with queries from HMRC
• Assist with planning and advisory work
• Supervise and train junior staff
• Assist in marketing activities for the firm

This role would ideally suit someone who is ATT/CTA or ACA/ ACCA qualified who may have previously worked for HMRC or have a comparable background.
