You will be proactive and highly organised with good commercial awareness.
In your new role you will be working closely with the accounts team as well as the members of the operations and logistics departments. Your duties will include:
Ensuring sales and purchase ledgers are effectively managed and accurately completed, with both intercompany and third-party transactions
Preparing daily bank reconciliations in multiple currencies
Preparation of third-party and intercompany bank payments
VAT accounting and reporting including preparation and filing of Intrastat returns
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Preparing monthly staff payroll using Sage Payroll 50
Ad-hoc finance administration including staff expenses
Credit control tasksTo be successful in your application you will have:
Good attention to detail
Previous financial experience ideally within AP/AR
Outgoing personality and Customer Service skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
