An exciting opportunity for an ambitious assistant accountant to join our client in a newly created role.
The Company
Working exclusively with Seymour John, this organisation has invested in a new international operation which they expect to grow rapidly over the next 12 months.
The Opportunity
Working within a small finance team from their modern offices, you will be:
* Preparing monthly management accounts to agreed timetables
* Processing and preparing month end journals
* Preparing VAT returns
* Sales ledger and purchase ledger control
* Preparing cashflow forecasts and bank reconciliations
* Preparing payroll for UK and international entities
* Liaising with auditors and acting as a contact for the bank
The Individual
You will have prior experience of working in management accounts and should be able to hit the ground running. Naturally you will be happy picking up new systems and will display an intermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Excel. Qualifications to substantiate experience would be desirable but they are not a pre-requisite.
