Rapidly growing start up company that has their accounting function based in Phoenix, Arizona is looking to add 10 - 20 Payroll processors due to growth. These positions are fully remote/work from home. Ideally, the candidates will live in Pacific or Mountain time. These are direct hire positions paying $18.00 - $23.00 an hour. There will be overtime until they are fully staffed.

These positions may require someone to be open to work every other weekend for awhile until they are fully staffed. If someone works on a weekend, they can take days off during the week.

Ideal experience:
  • 3 years of experience processing payroll
  • Multi State Payroll background
  • CA, PA, NY, or NJ - prior payroll experience with these states as they have complicated payroll / tax laws
  • ADP Payroll experience but company will be moving to ProAlliant in the near future.
  • Union experience would be a plus but not necessary

Job Requirements:
  • Prepare payroll input to computerized payroll systems
  • Run periodic payroll reports from the payroll module
  • Perform various payroll analyzes and produce payroll reports
  • Enter payroll for multiple branches/multiple state payroll weekly
  • Analyze and reconcile payroll and payroll related data
  • Gathering payroll data and sending to payroll vendor for processing
  • Prepare payroll from time cards and process the bi-weekly payroll
  • Entering new employees into payroll system
  • Manage weekly payroll process through close
  • Processing bi-weekly payroll for all hourly employees
  • Processing payroll for part time
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports
  • Maintain payroll metrics and reports
  • Filing weekly payroll documentation into employee files
  • End payroll processing for multiple locations
  • Resolve employee issues related to payroll
  • Provide payroll information to employee requests
  • Work closely with payroll service to insure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Answering all payroll related questions
  • Process all payroll related changes
