Legal Billing Manager
Our client a leading Regional -250 attorney law firm, is looking for a 7 plus years Legal Billing Manager to join their finance department and oversee their staff of 10 billing specialists. This role will report to our Director of Client Accounts and will be an integral part of their finance team located in Denver, Colorado. We are seeking an individual with strong knowledge of client accounting, billing, accounts receivable and cash receipts to oversee a team of billing specialists who are housed across multiple offices. Responsibilities would include the overall performance of the billing function, scheduling of work processes, delegation of workload, staffing of the department, maintaining billing processes , procedures, managing the monthly client billing cycle, generating and circulating pre-bills for editing by the billing attorneys, communicating with each billing staff member regularly, and reporting to management. The successful candidate will have 7 plus years of legal billing and supervisory experience at a large law firm combined with 15 to 20 years within the law firm industry, a finance operational background that includes, Billing, Accounts Receivable and Cash Receipts, experience managing a team of billing specialists both locally and remotely, proficiency with Elite 3E, knowledge of multiple e-Billing vendors, critical thinking and problem solving skills, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business highly preferred.
