This position would suit somebody who is entrepreneurial and likes a new challenge who is keen to build a corporate finance business supported by the expertise of a highly reputable firm of chartered Accountants.

Client Details

Our client are a market leading general practice accountancy firm who provide a wide array of services across accounts, tax, audit, bookkeeping, payroll and VAT. They are now looking for a Corporate Finance Manager or Director to join them in an opportunity where they can help grow the firms corporate finance offering in return for excellent progression prospects. Their clients vary in size and sector with turnovers typically up to £100m.

Description

This will be a wide ranging opportunity as a Corporate Finance Manager or Director looking to grow the practice's corporate finance offering. You will work closely with Partners/ Directors across the firm and the wider management group, delivering high quality corporate finance services and projects to wide ranging clients.

You will provide holistic advice across both M&A and transaction support including acquisitions, disposal and the raising of finance and investment. Deals are wide ranging in size and complexity and you will have through involvement across all services. You will be responsible for business development and networking in order to support the growth of the department and your career.

Because this is a growth opportunity for the business, my client are looking for a business partner who has experience within corporate finance and needs the support and backing of a well respected business to get up and running. My client will fund salary, setup costs and the marketing as well as a substantial stake in the business and support from the Partnership/ Directors.

You will progress and develop within this successful corporate finance team with a clear development and career path on offer. This role may also suit and auditor who has some corporate finance experience that is looking to become a specialist.

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Corporate Finance Manager or Director position will have experience working in either a corporate finance boutique or within an accountancy practice corporate finance team.

You will be ACA/ ACCA qualified and looking for the opportunity to get to Director/ Partner level where you have full autonomy in growing a corporate finance service line.
