My client is a fantastic NFP organisation

Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant is a newly created role to strengthen the current finance team.

Initially the role will be quite mixed, however you will be responsible for;

• maintaining the Fixed Asset register
• ensuring all month end reconciliations are completed to tight deadlines.
• developing strong financial controls across the organisation
• some treasury work
• other project work where required

Profile

Ideally you will be a big 4 ACA from an Audit background, however for the temporary role, a solid qualified Accountant with good financial control skills withe ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA wil be considered.

Ideally you have excellent Fixed Asset Accounting skills.

You will be able to evidence improving financial control across an organisation

You will have good month end reconciliation skills.

if you had some Treasury experience that would be advantageous.

Job Offer

an initial 3 - 4 month temporary assignment.

There is potential that the role may go perm for the right person.

Salary negotiable on the c£45k range (paid on an hourly or daily rate)
