Job Details

Due to internal promotion we have a new opening in our central finance team for a Management Accountant.  We are looking for a someone with previous Management Accounting experience who is studying toward their Accountancy qualifications (ACCA/CIMA or similar).

 

Initially working from home then based from Divisional Office in Thame, you will be responsible for providing accurate and sound management reporting with the financial insight to support key decision making in our operational divisions.  You will be a business partner to the divisions you support - nurture good working relationships with operational managers and communicate finance issues clearly to support operating divisions in all aspects of finance so that they can achieve their annual financial targets.

You will need to be able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines & be able to communicate at the highest level with professionals and peers, possessing excellent interpersonal skills - with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of preparing management accounts
  • Part Qualified Accountant - studying towards -ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT
  • Knowledge of accounting rules and principles.
  • Knowledge of financial budgeting and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of management accounts.
