Management Accountant, temporary contract with a possibility of permanent, Telford

Hays Senior Finance are working exclusively with our client who are recruiting a management accountant for a minimum of 9 months temporary with a view to take the candidate on permanent after.

This business are within manufacturing and have had solid growth over the past 12 months.

Your new role

The role of the management accountant will be a varied one; it will involve working to tight deadlines and ensuring the company accounts are produced in a timely and accurate manner. Other duties will be:

Producing profit and loss and balance sheet
Month end routines
Accruals and Prepayments
Nominal ledger, Journals
Balance sheet reconciliations
KPI's
Variance Analysis
Producing various reports as and when required
Making recommendations to improve and streamline processes

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience of working within a similar role is essential. The ideal candidate will also be available to start at short notice and will be able to commit for a minimum of 9 months.
