Finance Assistant

Your new company
A leading art publisher based in outstanding offices near Oxford Circus station are looking for a Finance Assistant with around 3 years experience in transactional finance to join their team. Whilst the company are usually based in Soho, the role will be working from home for the time being and the company will send you a laptop, mobile and whatever else you may need for a full home setup.

Your new role
Sat within a finance team of 4 and reporting into the Financial Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the companies finance operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Debt collection
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Assisting with year-end audit

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will be an AAT Qualified (or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified) finance professional with around 3 years of relevant experience in the duties detailed above. Due to the nature of this role and the structure of the company, this role will purely be performing the above duties for at least a year or two so if you are looking for immediate progression then this role isn't for you.

On top of having around 3 years experience, you will be a confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills. On top of this, you will be someone who is capable of managing their own time and workload and someone who enjoys working in a challenging environment.
