Audit & Assurance, BrightStart Higher Apprenticeship

Kick-start your career in a place where you'll continue learning, gain career-boosting qualifications and make a serious contribution to meaningful projects. This is a chance to earn a real salary, while you learn. With real work and projects from the start. On a structured career path that means you can shape your own future. You'll be encouraged to be your true self, dream bigger, think creatively and deliver real impact, as you grow and progress every day.

Locations: Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Reading, St Albans

Academic Requirements

You will need to have a minimum of 104 UCAS points (260 UCAS points pre-2017), and at least a grade 4 (C) in English language and at least a grade 5 (B) in Maths in your GCSEs (or equivalent).

Our requirements vary for a few specialist roles, so please read the programme-specific requirements on your registration form. Please note that you can go back and choose a new role, if you first select one where you don't meet the specific requirements.

Audit & Assurance

You'll be part of a team whose value starts with underpinning the accuracy of a company's financial information. Critical information that shareholders use to make vital decisions. Together, we gain a detailed understanding of our client's business, identify key risks and design strategies to mitigate them. Working collaboratively with colleagues and clients, you'll cover many diverse industries. As each is faced with such a different set of risks, you'll learn a huge amount and progress very quickly. But auditing financial statements is just the beginning. More and more, we're using intelligent machines to automate and standardise processes, so you and your colleagues are able to focus on your clients and your own development. You'll have greater freedom to think creatively, work together to solve problems, and offer deeper insights.

Why Join Deloitte?

At Deloitte, you'll become connected. To inspiring people, across the UK and the world. To meaningful work with diverse and fascinating clients. You'll join and support others like you, through our eleven diversity networks. And be part of a community whose shared values is what brings everyone together; lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for maximum impact. These values will lead every decision you'll make and action you take, guiding all of us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.
