You will be
* Part qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
* Degree level educated or equivalent
* People Focused - you can demonstrate how you have built relationships, sought to engage stakeholders and managed people
* Insights Focused - you can evidence how you have used data and insights to drive better decision making and a strength in using systems such as Excel or Sage (or equivalent)

In the first few weeks you will meet your team (3 people), all the key stakeholders you will support and start building relationships from day one. To be a successful as a Commercial Finance Manager, your stakeholders will expect you to deliver:
* Financial Insights - develop reporting, insights and information to influence decision making and build the financial acumen of Managers to help them to understand the impact of the decisions they make on the bottom line of the business
* Commercial pricing and commercial venture support
* Commercial support and education to keep the business on track to achieve the 5-year strategy
* Project support for key initiatives that seek to improve efficiencies, make savings, identify improvements, reduce risk and ensure the future profitability of the business
This role presents an opportunity to join a UK based, privately owned security services provider and develop your partnering and commercial expertise. Your role with include:
* Reporting (monthly and annual), forecasting and analysis (cashflow, P&L etc)
* Leading a completely in-house finance function, overseeing financial operations payroll, invoicing and other transactions
* Maintain financial policies, practice, and procedure in line with legislation and regulations
* Budgeting and planning
* Maintaining relationships with financial auditors, bankers, insurance brokers, IT providers, HMRC
