Finance Business Partner

Based in Luton, Bedfordshire, our client is looking for an enthusiastic, bright and sharp ACCA/CIMA part qualified Accountant to join the team as a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis at an exciting time for the company.

You will be responsible for supporting and challenging the operations team through reporting, insight and analysis to drive the business forward. The role also works with central functions through ad-hoc or project-based work to identify and assess business opportunities and risks to ultimately add value to the business.

The successful individual will be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant. You will ideally have experience of influencing senior stakeholders with a proven track record of improving and developing processes, however somebody with the right attitude and drive will be considered. This person will have excellent analytical skills, good time management and planning skills.

Duties will include:

Weekly and monthly reporting to support the operations teamDevelopment and improvement of reporting to mirror business needsProvide insight and analysis to operations team to challenge and focus on key business opportunities and initiativesResponsible for key P&L lines such as margin and labour from budgeting through to monthly reviewSupporting the wider finance team in completion of month end review and close with balance sheet responsibilityFrequent ad-hoc work and projects to support business strategyDeliver presentations at operations and central meetingsOwnership of the operations audit process, identifying and addressing financial risk
