As part of Boots UK's exciting transformational journey, we are seeking versatile qualified finance professionals to join the team on a 3 month fixed term contract. The purpose of the role is to assist with completing a high profile project using your financial accounting or FP&A experience. You will have the ability to adapt to change with a "can do" attitude and a resilient mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• You will provide support to existing Financial Control or FP&A teams where necessary by understanding what each finance department do and how they can be supported to enhance the quality of their business activity in relation to the project
• Aid with month end tasks and adhoc projects to drive improvements within financial accounting and financial reporting
• Developing a broad understanding of the finance systems and processes of Boots UK

A bit about you...

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant Financial Accounting or FP&A experience
• Confident communicator, willing to provide healthy challenge and hold others to account to ensure timely and accurate submissions
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong system skills and awareness, willingness to champion use of systems to streamline and automate work rather than relying on manual process
• High energy and resilience, with ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure
