Seymour John have been retained to assist Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit to recruit 2 permanent Finance Analysts (Management Accountant) to support the ongoing growth of the organisation.
Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit currently supports 37 CCGs across Staffordshire, Lancashire, Central Midlands and Cheshire & Merseyside. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Corporate Finance team for a member of staff to play a key role in delivering business finance support services.
The role would suit a part qualified accountant who is a self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision to deliver excellent customer service, and drive improvements.
The successful candidate will support the business in the development of the finance function and commercial acumen across the organisation.
The Finance Analyst will operate as a mini Finance Business Partner and will be pivotal in ensuring that the business meets its financial targets in terms of both income and margin generation. The role will be responsible for ensuring the effective use of financial resources by working with the Senior Business Partner, service leads and budget holders in order to manage financial risk. The post holder will also be expected to provide financial advice and support to non-finance managers, discuss complex, contentious and / or sensitive issues with budget holders, managers and other senior officers within the organisation together with other stakeholders as appropriate.
You need to be able to easily gain credibility and influence and have strong interpersonal skills to deal with complex and sensitive matters that may arise in day-to-day business.
We want a team player who is proactive, resilient and driven to succeed with a real commitment to work as part of the team taking the Finance function forward and contributing to the organisations success.
In return the organisation offers great opportunities to become part of a vibrant and developing organisation where passion and commitment forms part of our vision to provide high quality care to patients and services to our customers.
They are passionate about the NHS, client service and continuous improvement. We wish to add like-minded individuals to our team in order to develop our business in a time of significant opportunity and to 'make a difference'.
