This Finance Business Partner role provides business support to our Opticians business by analysing, appraising and reviewing the transformation agenda to ensure robust and informed decision making. You will ensure all business decisions are commercially focused through application of prior experience and skills gained in this area.

Key Responsibilities

• Principle business partner to the Head of Transformation
• Commercial analysis of project cost/investment/benefits to ensure value add decisions undertaken
• Preparation of supporting investment appraisals, including production of investment papers for review and sign-off
• Post-investment appraisal and tracking of projects to understand performance vs. business case
• Ensuring informed business decisions are made through accurate, insightful and timely analysis

A bit about you...

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong commercial background and awareness with an ability to a manage diverse workload to tight deadlines.
• Prior experience of supporting commercial decision making
• Flexible, agile and committed in order to ensure pace and allow efficient decision making
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel
