An exciting Commercial Operations Controller job has just become available with a pharmaceutical company.

About the Commercial Operations Controller Role:
In this position, you will provide effective and efficient support to senior management and regional finance in the areas of Planning, Reporting and Business Partnering as well as Controlling and Continuous Improvement projects to enable the best return on investment in engagement with customers.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Conduct regular review of Function/Business KPI (monthly/yearly review and comparison) and management reports to measure net sales and operating expenditure
  • Process and report consolidated information to management and prepare required data for transmission
  • Support management in timely strategic and operational decision making by providing financial analysis, evaluation and trends
  • Maintain financial reporting tools, financial models, analytical frameworks and templates in accordance with business/function needs and in alignment with regional finance
  • Engage with supply chain with regards to shipment management
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and support Head of Finance to seek improvement opportunities within the Finance Organisation

  • To succeed in the Commercial Operations Controller role, you will need to have the capability of business partnering, proactive and results oriented.

    Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration/Economics - Preferably Certified Accountant
  • Minimum of five years' experience in Financial Planning and Controlling ideally within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong functional and good business know-how, business acumen, strong technical skills in systems and tools, strong process thinking, understanding "big picture", future oriented, ability to look beyond own responsibility
  • Strong analytical thinking, esp. ability to understand and work on complex controlling, business and finance related topics
  • Agile, flexible, learning and sharing, able to deal with very different cultures and to work under pressure; team player
