This friendly business with a growth plan Is looking to appoint a new member of their accounts team for which we are dealing with this opportunity exclusively. As part of a bigger Group they have been acquisitive, and this supports the future of the business. The role will involve carrying the ledger work, reconciliations and taking the accounts to trial balance. You will also be involved in processing payroll. The role however will grow with you and you will be then looking to take on full P&L and balance sheet operations and analysis work. You will then also have opportunity to get involved in year-end audit. You will be given the appropriate support to grow into this role.

To apply you must have strong operational use of Sage Line 50 and be very competent with this system and good working knowledge of Excel. You will be competent up the trial balance level, conversant with ledgers and VAT returns and be able to operate competently at this level. You will be willing and wanting to take on further duties. You will either be a CIMA/ ACCA studier that wants to grow in their role and take things to the next stage or you will be qualified by experience but still wanting to take on more duties.
