Are you an experienced and dedicated R2R Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? Are you looking to join an NHS Health and Social Care partner which is striving to make positive changes? Our Finance Shared Service team based in Runcorn are looking for an enthusiastic R2R Management Accountant to support new ways of working as we embark upon an exciting period of finance transformation across our SSC. The postholder will also be responsible for the training and development of a small team of Assistant Accountants ensuring the highest technical and professional standards are imbedded and maintained.

Key Requirements:

* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the monthly accounts and other management information, ensuring all inputs are reflective of underlying financial performance

* Assist in implementing new ways of working across R2R as we move to a fully centralised SSC model with the R2R team driving simplification and standardisation of month end processes and reporting

* Support with the implementation of revised and improved financial controls

* Implement process improvements defined by the Senior R2R Accountant

* Manage service deliver to agreed SLA's and KPI's

* Feed into a continual improvement mind set within the team and the wider group finance team

Working within the Finance Shared Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Assistant Accountants and be responsible for the preparation of the monthly management reporting for one or more legal entities within the Virgin Care group.

As the R2R Management Accountant, you will play a key part in the transformation project, moving from a functional finance structure to an end to end P&L, Balance Sheet and CAPEX reporting on a legal entity basis. Responsibilities will also include calculating and posting relevant journals to ensure the accounts are reflective of underlying financial performance, production of full P&L and Balance Sheet, assisting the Senior R2R Management Accountant in month end closes ensuring ledgers are closed to strict deadlines.

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic R2R Management Accountants who have around 3 years' post qualification experience, along with the experience of running an end to end P&L and Balance Sheet process, including a detailed report with meaningful commentary and variance analysis. You will have experience working with a large ERP system such as Oracle or SAP and have strong communication skills to liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally.
