We are currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a fantastic and busy accountancy practice based in Northampton. This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week and offering £24K-£28K pro rata.

The Role:

• Performing all round bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of small businesses
• Carry out balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Posting of journals
• All Ledger work
• Liaising with clients and HMRC

You:

• Have previous Bookkeeping experience
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice would be an advantage
• Excellent VAT knowledge
• Good knowledge of Xero
• High level or accuracy and attention to detail
• Uses own initiative and has a proactive approach
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
