This highly commercial employer are recruiting for what is initially scheduled to be a 12 month role, processing the end-to-end payroll for employees and administering pension system.

This would be an ideal next step for anyone who is looking for a payroll position as a Key Worker in a commercially focused team.

Within the role you will have a balanced mixture of WFH as well as office based work. The employer are also able to provide relatively flexible start and finish times for the successful applicant.

The office has taken the necessary steps to comply with COVID-19 safety regulations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all site-based staff members.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

- Weekly and monthly payroll processing, including liaison with payroll bureau;

- Management of annual payroll;

- Liaising with HMRC and other third parties;

- Pension administration for approximately 200 staff;

- Administration and processing of expenses on internal system;

- Efficient and accurate maintenance of accounting records and internal controls; and

- Assistance with implementation of new integrated HR and Payroll system.

Training on the necessary integrated systems that are being implemented will be provided. It is, however, essential that applicants are able to demonstrate an aptitude in learning and processing information on new payroll software.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

All applications will be reviewed on their own merit.

It is essential that applicants have experience of end-to-end payroll experience and a sound foundational knowledge of the administration of company pension schemes. Suitable candidates will also have a strong knowledge of payroll and pensions legislation within the UK.

Strong IT literacy skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel. Previous experience working with computerised payroll software will be absolutely essential.
