circa £25,000 pro rata + benefits
About the Role: Due to business success and growth, we are now seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a Part-Time position. The role will be within a small, friendly and committed finance team and you will be reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities will include all aspects of the purchase ledger process including matching invoices to PO, coding and posting invoices to the ledger and reconciliation of supplier statements to the ledger. You will need to have experience dealing with complex purchase ledger issues and have the ability to reconcile these.
You will be liaising with the purchasing department, chasing missing invoices and obtaining appropriate authorisation for payment. You will also have the responsibility to produce accurate and timely reports for the management team.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will certainly have experience in a similar position, experience of managing complex ledgers and have a stable career background. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Sage and a confident Microsoft Excel user. The fit is as important as the experience you bring, and you should be a good team player with good communication skills. The role is set to be part-time (around 30 hours per week).
