Finance Analyst-Accountant required for a 3 month assignment for a company leader in business support.

You will ideally be Part qualified accountant or AAT Level 4 or equivalent
Salary up to 24k (pro rata)

To operate and improve effective accounting processes covering income and expenditure, bank reconciliations, journals, monthly management information and KPI reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, VAT return workings, P11D records (if necessary), tracking expenses, short term cash flow forecasting and project summaries

What will you be doing - Here are some of the duties and responsibilities;

To understand the cost drivers within the business and provide analysis to the management team to help them make decisions. To carry out any other tasks required by the Finance Manager.
Financial Accounting - Maintain, accurately and completely, books of accounts.
Management Accounting - Produce regular and timely management information and KPI reporting to support decision making by the senior management team.
Cash Management - Perform regular bank/credit card reconciliations. Update short-term cash-flow forecast information.
Finance processes and procedures - Assist the finance director in developing and implementing policies and procedures in core financial process areas.
Business Partnering - Deal with monthly rebate statements provided by suppliers and produce monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly invoices and statements from them.

About you and your Qualifications & Experience;

• Part qualified accountant or AAT Level 4 or equivalent
• Good knowledge of relevant HMRC requirements
• Good skills when working with Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors
• Sage (or equivalent) accounting software experience
• Good project management skills
• Ability to work within a high pressure and hands-on environment
• Ability to communicate externally and internally in a professional and respectful manner
