ICFR and Internal Audit Partner

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and exceptional ICFR & Internal Audit partner to join to the broader finance team. The ICFR & IA partner is expected to be a part of a finance team, although with different expertise areas, who are collectively looking for creative solutions to deliver better outcomes for more patients, faster.

The ICFR and Internal Audit partner is expected to be very collaboratively working with different teams both in the UK (other chapters, clusters like compliance and/or squads) and outside of the UK mainly with Roche Shared Services & Solutions. The individual is expected to design the monitoring controls needed in our new ways of working and operating, to test the controls, to recommend improvement areas based on the results of the tests and to increase the awareness of the organization related to applicable procedures & policies.


ICFR and Internal Audit partner is responsible to:
  • Leverage his / her financial compliance and audit expertise to support chapter and/or squad work and act as a guardian to the organization's license to operate and reputation.
  • Participate in ICFR testing through working collaboratively with the local organization, Roche Services and Solutions (RSS organization) in Budapest and Group Financial Compliance (LAI).
  • Ensure that Roche global and local financial regulations are translated into simple policies & procedures and into practical & compliant solutions when partnering across the organization.
  • Coordinate and execute of design and operating effectiveness audits for internal controls over financial reporting
  • Support ABPI transparency, Roche Sustainability and Sunshine Act reporting data collection and annual submission requirements
  • Actively support the learning and development of other chapter and cluster members.
  • Act as the Roche UK Financial Compliance Officer.
  • Actively provide value-added recommendations and action plans in accordance with internal policies, industry's best practices, and regulations.
  • Resource and train of a team of self-testers to assist with ICFR.


Individuals should:
  • Have curiosity and interest in understanding the business and operational activities to provide expert advice on financial control compliance, risk assessments and internal audit requirements, including Segregation of Duties (SOD)
  • Innovate, experiment and at all times ensure the company maintains its license to operate and maximize patient, customer and business outcomes
  • Be passionate about bringing innovative and transformative ideas to enhance productivity and impact to the organization.
  • Have leadership and ability to influence in local and global Finance networks.
  • Be qualified or in training for professional finance/Internal Audit qualification.
  • Have experience in accounting, finance or business administration.
  • Roche Affiliate experience preferred.
